Welcome to the wayward

We have been so overwhelmed with your feedback, responses and support since we sent this baby out into the world. We’re literally bursting with gratitude. So firstly, thank you. For coming on this journey with us, and being the first of our Wayward folk.

After the fire and drive of launching during Sagittarius season (Nov 22 - Dec 21), Capricorn season (Dec 22 - Jan 19) has kicked our butts! With the sun in the same sign as Saturn, Pluto and the south node, plus eclipse season kicking off, it’s been heavy, murky energy.

Behind the scenes, our first couple of months have been all the “e” words. Exhilarating, exciting, exhausting. In between shooting, writing and planning, we’ve been juggling day jobs, study, relationships and the fourth trimester. But every late night and early morning has been worth it to connect with you. When we see stories really resonate, it makes our little Capricorn hearts soar.

Why are we telling you all this? Because above all else we want this to be a space of openness and honesty. Don’t for a second think we’re floating around in a cloud of green juice and essential oils! For every yoga break there’s an expletive-fuelled tantrum at Photoshop.

But why this site? Why, The Wayward?

So. Many. Reasons. It’s because we wanted to create something beautiful that we were both proud of, and that was “us”. It’s because we still believe in the written word, and that people want to read stories of inspiring people doing life differently. We couldn’t find anywhere online or in print that resonated with us, that combined all of our passions in one place. So we created it.

This site is a culmination of everything we’ve done in our professional life up to this point, and yet it also deeply personal. And we can’t wait to keep sharing this journey with you. We have some pretty epic plans for this year, we can’t wait to see them all come to life! Thanks for coming along for the ride. We’re only just getting started…
